Three kids named Melanie, Marshal, and April find a shack and they have ideas of what to do with it. The kids decorated the shack to look like Egypt and started the Egypt Game. The Egypt Game is a game where the kids act like Egyptians and have different ceremonies for different things. They swore not to tell anyone about Egypt. The thing is that "Egypt" is behind a shop with a crazy owner who is a suspect in the murder of a little girl.
Later they start to wear costumes when Ken & Toby join the Egypt Game. Toby Starts coming up with great ideas like wearing costumes to the meetings and having a ceremony for the dead. April starts to get jealous when Toby joins because of all of the wonderful ideas he is coming up with.
Weird things start to happen when they have an oracle that isn't alive answering their questions with complicated answers so they knew it wasn't any of them. First they found out that Toby was answering but when he stopped there was still many answers coming in. Then one day everyone but April and Marshall went home. One of them gets attacked and the one that didn't get attacked knows who it was, but doesn't want to tell. If you want to find out how the story ends check out the book.
